Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Great bike for the price!!   July 31, 2008
I bought this bike new around 6 months ago and have been using it almost everyday for the last 2 months, I ride an 8 mile route each time on a disused railway line to my girlfriends. I must have used this bike on that route at least 40 times with no issues whatsoever.

I can't argue against anything on this bike, not for the price.

Another reviewer mentions it's made of steel, I'm no bike expert, but it's definitely not the lightest bike ever, it does feel very strong though. The gears and brakes are excellent for the price (V-brakes).

However, you do have to construct the bike yourself, this takes around an hour if you want to make sure it's done right. The manual is clear and easy to follow, and you get a great multi tool and Allen key set provided in the box.

I built two of these, My advice is take your time and follow the manual thoroughly and theres no reason for not having a great bike at half the price most people pay for a dual suspension

5 out of 5 stars Best Bike EVER!!   August 31, 2007

Dont listen to the other reviews, they are probaby one offs or the user's fault. The bike is the best money I have spent all summer! The perfectly collaborated suspention works a charm and although the bike is made from steel (Which, while heavier than aluminium is quadruple the strength) it is SUPER light and ULTRA responsive. Overall, what with other bikes on the market being nearly 200 for excactly the same specs. If you want something that looks great, is easy to mantain, looks good and is guaranteed to last, BUY THIS BIKE!

2 out of 5 stars Don't you ever....   May 13, 2007

By buying this bike I learned again a valuable lesson: don't spare the costs. If you want a really high quality bike, go see a specialist. Everything started well...I received it in 2days, assembly was very easy. Problems started when I found out that the frame was steel, come on people, we are living in the 21st century, who is seriously building bikes nowadays of steel. However, one of the main screws, that holds the pedal on was wound the other way, so instead od tightening through pedaling it got loose through pedaling. This means I have to keep a 1/2 ratchet with a 14 mm socket in my bag for biking, if the pedal becomes loose, I just stop and fix it again. After around 3 weeks I found out that something must be wrong with the back brake as well, because it was constantly touching the back wheel, making biking a torture, so I dismantled the whole crap... Of course I could file a complaint and get it changed or whatever, but I need it to go to work, I just do not have the time for this...
Summary: Big piece of junk, forget that you have ever seen it on the website.
