Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Fun! Impressive! Bargain!   November 8, 2008
I was given one of these as a present and thought, wow, how small! No matter the size - this helicopter is bursting with fun! Unfortunately, after a week of flying, it broke. I was very surprised as I had previously crashed it on several occasions and it worked normally afterwards!

So I purchased another and have been flying it since 13 September. The Storm IV is my first helicopter which is very durable and has simple to master controls making it perfect to fly around inside and out. Great for beginners, but even better for Christmas!

I presumed that, because it was small (like the Pico-Z), it wouldn't last long in the air. How wrong I was! The longest I have managed to keep it airborne was approximately 15 minutes, and recharge in about the same. Crashes, cats, rain and rivers haven't stopped my Storm yet, but why should they? Unlike most other helicopters I have viewed, there are spare blades included - which I found out is very useful after the first week.

However, small pieces of the rear have broken off and this frustrates me, not that the helicopter is unable to fly, but it simply doesn't control as well in the air. Also, the piece that covers the circuit board has cracked and falls off. Some structural damage but none affects flight and if I crash, the power shuts down automatically, resulting in me having to go and search it out from the hedge which is frustrating.

I would rate this product 8/10, for only a few little things let it down and this upsets me because it's so close to being a perfect little gadget!
