Fun for all! September 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I used to play this game with my grandad, my parents and siblings, now when i dug it out of the the loft i play it with my boyfriend and his family! This game is fun for everyone. I would definately recommend to all who are not easily frustrated!!
great for any age! September 4, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This game is so fun. This sounds rather sad, but im 17 and me and my friend get together and still play this! It lives up to its name but in a great way. Its fun for small children (well about 8 years and up), and is fun for teens and adults if translated into a drinking game. i strongly recommend it.
Good fun but games can go on a bit October 29, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
The board can tend to warp and the pieces shoot out if the popper is hit too hard. The plastic used for newer editions is much flimsier than the earlier models and this makes the game less durable than it was. The popper is ok but the spring can get damaged.
We have some spare pieces but they're large enough not to lose easily. The kids like it and it's a popular game for a wet Saturday afternoon. Better construction would make it better still.
Innovative Ludo April 17, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
This was the game that defined the 1970's for me anyway. This is a variant of ludo, and things can hotten up pretty fast especially when you are waiting for the exact number to turn up so that your colour can end in your 'house'. Only downer is if a piece gets missing, how do you replace it ? Buts thats just a minor suggestion.
Glorified Ludo! April 5, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This game is basically ludo with a fancy popper in the middle of the board. My daughter loves playing it, and it is a good game, although sometimes a game lasts way too long for my liking! Also, the picture on the box is pretty misleading, and it actually says in small print in the corner of the box "pieces do not fly out during play". All in all, a nice little game, but nothing fancy.
