Pretty jewellery with a difference March 19, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought Spiral Charms for my cousin's 9-year-old daughter. She loved it and made some stunning jewellery. The mechanism was fun and easy to use and she loved the way the beads were dispensed within the case. A big hit!
How to disappoint a seven year old: March 11, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
My 7 year old daughter loved the advert for this and saved her pocket money to buy. The results are nothing like the ad. In reality the metal wire spirals lose their shape as soon as you remove them from the winding device and the beads then drop off and the charms fall out. I have tried to use it myself and the design is flawed - don't waste your money or your time on this product. The only good thing about it is the selection of beads which we have been able to use for other things. My daughter was thoroughly disappointed that she had wasted her pocket money on this.
Really creative December 8, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This clever device enables you to design and create wonderful jewellery. Wire is wound around a shape, then threaded with tiny beads, and you can pop a jewel inside. I bought one for my niece and she has made all kinds of lovely necklaces, bracelets, phone tags etc.
