I bought these on an impulse for my trampoline-mad daughter and she was delighted with them. She thoroughly exhausted herself over the Christmas holidays and was able to use them indoors which is a massive bonus when the weather has been so appalling. We added as many elastics as we thought necessary to support her weight rather than add all of them and she was well away. These won't send you into orbit, but they certainly satisfy my daughter's urge to bounce. We have no complaints!

My 8 year old daughter asked for these for Christmas so we got them and after my husband finally got all the bands on my daughter tried them out. They were awful! Apart from the fact that she couldn't bounce around on them as it was almost impossible for her to balance they also seemed very dangerous. At one point she fell backwards but couldn't right herself because although the bands are flexible the block they're attached to is firmly fixed on the ground.
Anyway we are so concerned about her using them that we have taken them off her and put them in the bin. She hasn't objected at all because she said they don't feel safe. This is a child who rollerblades, ice skates etc... so is not unused to balancing activities.
I do not recommend these for purchase at all.

My children mithered me for ages to buy them this toy. They finally got their wish last xmas and what a disappointment!! The straps take ages to put on the shoes and when you finally get them on to say that you'll be bouncing up and down like a trampoline has got to be the understatement of the year. Needless to say, the Moon Shoes have now taken up permanent residence in the garage.
