Don't buy this April 15, 2008 This is totally a waste of money. It doesn't work. The tubings don't fit and it makes a mess. It doesn't teach children anything as it didn't work and leave the child disappointed. All it does is squirt red water everywhere!
Great fun! October 24, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
This science kit was alot of fun. The Horrible Science kits introduce science in exciting way and makes science fun and appealing to kids (unlike alot of other science kits which are dull, dull, dull) We had great fun making and squirting the blood around the heart. I have bought a few as party presents (great gift for boys especially). Ignore the other review about the Horrible Science kits.
bad design, bad science, a toy that cannot work and disappointed child January 29, 2007 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
Like most of horrible science and living and learning toys this toy is useless. First of all it is so badly designed it simply cannot work. This so called heart has square outlets and a round tube, so it is never going to make a seal. Their heart has only one outlet an one inlet as opposed to 2 of each of a human heart.
Very disappointed child, living and learning (the manufacturer) is simply heartless Poor science, poor plumbing stay clear of their products
A rip-off October 14, 2006 27 out of 27 found this review helpful
This is an expensive piece of rubbish. There is nothing remotely educational about this so-called heart. The effort expended by its manufacturer was directed entirely into the spottily humourous instruction guide -- perhaps amusing to adults but hardly an enticement for children. My son was disappointed by what is essentially a plastic bulb with two holes connected by a hose. Although the instruction manual talks all about valves and other genuine heart details, there are no working parts.
