Product Description Mobile telephony is an indescribably complex business. And it's often handy to know that when you're delivering your takeaway order to Mr Ho-Wong down at the local Chinese, your call is backed by billions of pounds of technology. Technology that has led, almost inevitably, to the creation of the ever-so-collectable and dashed useful Mo Pods. A Mo Pod - for there are many styles and varieties to choose from - is quite simply a small furry character that sits lifelessly inside a small glass dome attached to one's mobile using a handy keyring-type lead. 'Is that all?', you ask. No. It is not all. For the Mo Pods do mo' - much mo' - than just stand there. Mo Pods tune-in to the incoming frequencies recognised by one's mobile telephone and, in so doing, perform a flashing dance (not unlike that of Mr Travolta in Saturday Night Fever) whenever they spot an incoming call or text. Spinning around like a whirling dervish, they perform the public service of alerting you to your good fortune, perhaps in a noisy pub or in the midst of a dull meeting. Relative to the profusion of dull and rather functional mobile accessories peppering our shelves - which, let's face it, only seem to come in one shade of black - Mo Pods are a ray of light in an otherwise Bluetooth desert. Needless to say, it is incumbent on you as a follower of these fashions, not merely to stop at one Pod, but to go on to amass a collection of a whole number of fascinating little characters. Then simply pop and go with the Mo. Yo.

Great Idea. But dosen't always work. January 30, 2008 I bought one of these for my wife and found that sometimes it works and sometimes it dosen't. + sometimes it just flashes when there are no calls at all.
I found it a bit disappointing. The lights only flash for a few seconds while the phone is ringing and gives no indication that you have a missed call or missed text so the claims that you will never miss a call again are a bit far fetched.
To sum this item up in one word : OVERRATED
Cute, cute and cute! January 13, 2008 I got this for xmas. I really like it and it is a cool idea. It is nice when it lights up but sometimes it doesnt when your phone rings, can go off automatically, fiddley to get on but yeah great. I would recommend it.

Its a brilliant idea, and makes a very cool-yet random present..for all ages!!! However, if you have a 3G Phone it will not work, they forget to mention this on these sites!
Excellent! December 3, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It really does work, now I will never miss a call when my phone is in my handbag again. Excellent!
