My 2 and 4 year old and their friends have really enjoyed this toy and it has been well used in the 2 weeks we have had it. There are battery operated moving parts on this toy (note to first reviewer: you need to insert an extra battery) - the track goes up and down.

We have bought a lot of hot wheel stuff and this was the first let down. Its main problem is that it implies its an easy up and down automated system where in fact the only thing the batteries do is make the sound. There is also no continious curcuit which was also a let down. Badly constructed to the point where two adults struggled with it. i would advise anyone looking to spending the pricely sum to look at the batman Arkham Aslum toy instead. our child who is fanatical about hotwheels lost interest before christmas was over.
