All I can say about Geomag is that it's brilliantly addictive. The number of different shapes/objects that you can make are limited by your imagination (and how many sticks/panels/balls you have).
Great for all ages (although parts are small, so not advisable for little ones) and it teaches you quite a bit about magnetism.
The only down side that I have found with them so far, is that as I get more experienced with the set, I try to make bigger and more complex shapes (easier with the panels as you need less sticks and balls for the shapes). As a result I run out of pieces and have to buy more, which is proving somewhat costly!(I own 1*220 panels, 2*48 color, 1*14 color and 1*20color)
