Forget my son, I love playing with this toy! I bought this along with another horse and rider and we spend many an hour playing with it.
There are lots of accessories for the horse (brush, reigns, water trough and hay) as well as the car (spare tyre comes off and can be replaced). Lots and lots of fun and I think both girls and boys (3+) would enjoy it.
