One side of the elephant was not aligned with the other side prior to being sewn together, consequently the eyes on the elephant were very crooked on the one I received. Also, for a soft toy I did not think the toy was very soft or cuddly.

My two year old was absolutely delighted when I presented him with this, which was great, although Elmer now gets far more cuddles than I do!
It is on the light side, not weighted like a bean bag, which makes it a bit bouncy and hard to catch. This makes it quite safe, though. It seems to be durably made. A good buy all round.

I bought this along with the Elmer book as I remember him from my childhood and it has to be one of the best things that I have bought for my 8 month old as she loves him! I think it's the bright colours but where ever Eve is Elmer isn't far away. This is a must for any little one.

This is a great soft toy for children, and if you're a teacher and you're reading the story of Elmer to your class, this toy makes it extra special for the children!!
