Easy to clean off painted walls. August 21, 2010 Ben Carruthers (Lancs UK) My title says it all. My 19 month old daughter loves them, but I'm sure she's love drawing with permanent markers too. These have an advantage. My only criticism is that they do end up as little stumps after a month and then she starts opting for other things to draw on the walls with (i.e. ball point pens)
fab July 29, 2010 trixie as some1 said in a review i read here, they are not jumbo, they are chunky and short, but they do say mini kids crayons. which i think is good for little hands. i bought these for my 2 year old and they are great. they dont snap like usual crayons as he has tuff little hands and being short they are easy for little ones to grip. the colours are lovely with different shade etc. what more can i say about a crayon? i think crayola are the best you can buy, the only i brand i buy now for my kids. non toxic and safe for kiddies to use, most products are washable!. maybe not so good for older kids with bigger hands but great for little ones. i also have the funky looking jumbo colouring pencils which are even better! would def recommend those for younger and older kids, good to grip and easy to use which a good result from the colour.
A Grandfathers opinion January 24, 2010 E. Salkala (Espoo, Finland) Reasonable good crayons. My grandson has used them just onces since he visit me not often.
Not so jumbo! January 20, 2010 pipchin (London, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was a bit disappointed by the size of these crayons, I'm surprised they're allowed to be described as "jumbo", they're really not as big and chunky as the word would lead you to believe! They are thicker than your classic paper-wrapped crayolas but probably a bit shorter. These are fine if you want a nice little tub of crayons but just don't be expecting anything too jumbo-sized!
Crayons, Crayons everywhere January 18, 2010 T. Capell (UK) I bought these crayons to introduce my 14 month old son to creative fun.
They are nice and chunky and easy to hold. The colours are really nice and bright and there's a brilliant choice too.
My son seems quite happy to sit and chew them, or fling them around the carpet or sometimes fill his tin with them and then jiggle it about like a big rattle until they all spill out onto the floor. Guess who gets to pick them up?
However he's having fun with them and does attempt to do some artwork when I sit with him and encourage him to make his mark.
I enjoy teaching him the colours and I try to draw objects which are naturally that colour - ie yellow sun, green grass, red bus (this I'm finding hard, since my artistic talents stop at match-stick men!)
Overall this little package of crayons is an ideal start to colourful and creative play.
