Jigsaw case July 26, 2010 P. Robinson (N Ireland) This puzzle board was bought for my daughter as she enjoys building jigsaws.
With larger piece puzzles it is difficult to complete the puzzle without taking a few breaks!
The board and storage case are ideal for the 'stage' builder.
A good product.
Jumbo Portapuzzle May 20, 2010 Ms. Pamela Kingsland (UK) Brilliant! The whole family can, and do, join in with Grandpas puzzles and the dining table is free.
jigsaw carrier April 26, 2010 Mrs. Annes K. Mien (UK) Just as I expected it to be. I am very pleased with it and finding it very useful for storing my jigsaws out of the way when required.
portapuzzle April 11, 2010 M. Barrett I have been doing jigsaw puzzles for many years now and just can't imagine how I managed without the portapuzzle for all this time. It's such a great product. Anyone who does jigsaws should own one, whether young or old. M. Barrett, Isle of Wight.
Don't waste your money on this piece of rubbish! February 24, 2010 FAMOUS NAME (UNITED KINGDOM) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
What an utter and complete load of rubbish this is!
It seems inconceivable that in 2010 they cannot design a simple thing like something to do your Jigsaws on! In fact, they're going backwards, because I had an earlier one of these to hold a 1500 Jigsaw which was much better. (incidentally, something they no longer produce in this inefficient country of ours any longer, and now is only available in the US who no longer ship to the United Kingdom...)
Whoever designed this did not do well at School, since it would be obvious to a child that a Jigsaw needs to be held in place whilst building. If you can imagine trying to do a Jigsaw and expect it to hold together on a mattress - then this is what it is like using this thing! As I think someone has already said; there is a layer of 'stuff' on this that's supposedly designed to hold the pieces in place, but it's not 'attached' to the board underneath it with glue, and so it's too loose and 'ripples' - even when a Jigsaw is not on it! Try doing one and moving the pieces around, and they all come apart...
The 'board' part is also far too flimsy and 'bends' all too easily, and so you cannot use this unless you have a large table to put it on - this to me defeats the purpose of the whole idea... The previous one I mentioned for the 1500 Jigsaw was a much harder surface to work upon and the 'stuff' was 'glued' to it and so did not ripple - hence your pieces and Jigsaw stayed where you left them. Fold this away, and pieces not only move, but can actually 'drop out' and on to the floor...
A total waste of space - don't waste your money on this trash, (I'm not allowed to use the word I should like to to describe this poorly produced piece of rubbish) and if you visit some Sites, they're actually charging double what Amazon are asking for this! Should be a law against it...
Unfortunately, Amazon make it that I have to award this at least one Star - but I'd love to have been able to give it a big fat ZERO!
