Someone bought this for my daughter's christening present (well...that's a lie...they bought her a money box but so did 6 other people, so my friend and i went together and swapped for this because it seemed fun).
Got it home and plugged it in, all very simple; no batteries to fiddle with you just need to attach the hose.
Alas, the water sprayed out in a rather pointless arc (it doesn't spray high enough for you to jump through it on a sunny day so all it does is make the lawn soggy). After the required amount of time the little white `wand' bits did start rotating but no bubbles came out...we waited for 5 minutes, the lawn getting wetter and wetter and no bubbles left the machine though some did valiantly rise out but then lost the will to live and sank back down again. Not only that, we've tried to get it working twice and the two bottles of solution that came with it have both been used up magically despite the lack of bubbles.
Very disappointing...at least with a money box we could have saved some pennies to buy a bubble machine that worked!

unwrap,set up and connected it to the garden hose.
and waited for the bubbles......................................................................
No bubbles!!!
As there was not enough air pressure (which is supplied via water wheel inside ((the faster it goes the more air you get))
So i'd only recommend this product if you live in a really high water pressure area
