Wicked February 20, 2010 Bob F (London, UK) I like the Ripstik, being well made, ready to use straight from the box.
Fun! Fun and not as difficult to learn as you might think.
You wont stop once you start.
Most interesting on flat ground because of tricks.
One of the most dangerous street wheels to use if you don't have safety gear.
Wicked to learn and use if you have the safety stuff, especially helmet and wrist protector.
My 8 year old grandson loves it and is doing tricks, so when fit, any age group can use it.
Don't get on it if you are 100kg or more.
ripstik caster board November 24, 2009 water (france) This board feels like it has more amplitude than the Waveboard. It also seems to turn easier. Picking up speed is easy, and starting of with just a small push is real simple. Should be very easy board to get started with. The Ripstik will give you loads of fun. Enjoy!
Rip stick!! how apt!!! September 29, 2009 R. Bartlett (uk) 2 out of 6 found this review helpful
My 14 year old son tried one of these out at a friends house - looks tricky is tricky within 20 minutes he had a spiral fracture of his Distal Tibia which runs along the top of his growth plate. He has been in a full leg plaster for nearly 5 weeks and is not expected to be out of plaster for another 3 weeks. He has narrowly avoided surgery however had he been younger it would have been unavoidable. Personally wouldn't buy one.
Ripstick August 23, 2009 Charlie and 5 (Poole, Dorset) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the third ripstick we've bought (3 boys aged 10,8 & 7). They're great. A bit tricky to start with but they all learnt quickly and now they're impessive to watch. It's a quality product with no sign of wear on the bearings despite being used a lot on the promenade next to the beach.
Ripstik Review July 11, 2009 B. Tyrell (Fife, Scotland) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought my 11 year old son the Ripstik for his birthday 2 weeks ago. There has not been a day since that he has not been on it. He mastered the controls fairly quickly. It is a sturdy piece of kit and draws many admiring glances from passersby and skate park regulars alike. It is not as versatile as a skateboard in the trick department but he likes the speed of the Ripstik.
