We- as grandparents- bought this for our grandsons on the advice of their mum and dad. It has been great and both boys love to use this reading system so much that dad bought another pen so they do not have to share. It has been a great system and adds another way of learning to enjoy reading.

I bought this product because of the reputation and other products from the same brand. I can conclude I am not disapointed. When I opened the box I followed the instructions and in 20 minutes I have it running, sound quality is good, recognition excellent, easy to handle and my 6 year old girl loves it. It is a good way to improve reading and comprehension, gives a lot of freedon to children and is easy to transport, the batteries last many hours.
In general very happy.

Excellent product - technology works fantastically well - and a cheap price. Be aware, though, this is the old model that stores data for only 5 rather than 10 books. The multipacks of Leapfrog Tag books are much better value if you can get hold of them, rather than buying them individually, and makes storing ten books more affordable!

I bought this toy for my 4 year old grand daughter in England fo her birthday. Report from her parents is that she absolutely adores it. Now I know what to include in her next birthday gift pack. More Books for her Reading system.

The revieve does not reflect any truth as the gift was a present and the childs birthday which is only on the 30th march 2010(4yrs old) so has not even been opened yet.
