| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The 3-channel version of the fun device PicooZ is used here. The aerodynamic design of the fuselage gives a very true to size impression. This version too is naturally made from the almost indestructible foam (EPP) and can even survive a collision in flight without damages.

flying high July 15, 2010 sarnie I bought this silverlit atlas 3-channel remote control helicopter for my husband as a fathers day present from our cat oliver as we have no children, he was like a big kid when he opened it and saw what it was he played with it for hours only downfall is that you can't fly it outdoors except if it is a very calm day, plus you need to recharge it about every 10-15 mins. but it didnt bother my hubby he loved it, it is really worth buying and i'm thinking of getting him a double propeller helicopter so that i can play with one of them, thank you amazon for a very reasonable product.Silverlit Atlas 3-Channel Remote Control Helicopter (Colour and frequency varies)
Brilliant fun but runs out of power quite quickly July 6, 2010 Berori I purchased this helicopter for my friend's 35th birthday as a bit of a gimmick. When it arrived it appeared a bit small and delicate and not worth the money, but once we'd taken it out of the box and charged it up we had lots of fun learning to fly it. To start with the helicopter kept spinning round, so we had to learn how to trim the helicopter. (Other reviewers have already commented on this.) Once you have learnt to stop the helicopter spinning by trimming it you can start learning to fly it forwards and sideways. It takes a lot of practise to get it to hover in one place and we didn't manage it very often! Crashing the helicopter is unavoidable, the rotors will catch the corner of a cupboard or sofa sending it shooting across the room, but it suvived every time. However, I'm not sure how well it would survive if you flew it at speed into a hard object so practise small manouvures to begin with until you get the hang of it. The only downside? It does run out of charge quite quickly, at which point it still flies but becomes unresponsive to your commands to turn left or right. At this point we plugged it back in to charge and played DJ Hero until it was ready to fly again after approximately 20 minutes. If you love radio controlled toys and find cars boring and easy to master, try this, it will please and frustrate in equal measure until you've spent lots of hours practising.
