So I got my first Ripstik back in March 2009 and it literally only took me a couple of hours to learn how to ride it. And Oh. My. God. What a piece of kit. Skating on this thing was like nothing else, and I thrilled myself merely with riding around on it. Unfortunately, the board I had was a slight knock-off one, and within a few months I had (and god knows how) managed to ruin the thread on one of the screws holding the wheels in place. Being a bit lazy, this kept me off skating for a couple of months as I couldn't really be bothered finding a new screw for it. When I finally got my hands on one a few months later, I remembered exactly why I'd loved riding one so much, and my enthusiasm returned instantly. I pushed myself a little further this time though, and endeavoured to learn to do basic tricks with it too! Manualing was the easiest way to start off with, and I soon learnt to oli as well, so pushed out to try learn how to grind as well.
AGAIN the board broke though, this time at the centre bar which now allows the board to be separated in two, but also makes it almost un-rideable. Unwilling to try fixing it again, I decided to cash out a bit more and go for a genuine board, and the Ripstik G instantly appealed to me.
On looks alone it looks much more fearsome and impressive then my previous board! The gold and black look so elegant yet subtle. The gold bar in the middle is also much more durable then my previous one, and it is also designed a little better, meaning that my feet grip to the board more, but also that its easier and still perfectly manoeuvrable with my foot on the kick tail.
I'd been able to get a couple of my friends riding my old board, and they both agreed they preferred the genuine Ripstik as well.
All in all, I'd rate Ripstik's very highly, and have recommended them to many of my friends and relatives! I'd also recommend getting a genuine one, rather then one of the knock-offs after my prior experience, and the Ripstik G really is just the icing on the cake for me. I'm not sure I'll be replacing this for a long, long time!

The Rip Stick was excellent,just what my grandson wanted,he was over the moon with it as i was at the price.I never thought i was going to get one until someone told me of your site. And it was a special Edition which was brilliant.
The delivery was spot on in 24hrs no damage your people kept me up to date once it had left for delivery.
