I bought this as a present under the influence of previous reviews, and I have to admit I was disappointed. It often gets close to the answer whilst guessing correctly only about fifty percent of the time; for example: police car rather than ambulance, seed instead of nut, vodka rather than wine. Still pretty impressive, but if we went head to head, I'd favour myself over Mr 20Q.
Creepy and a little weird January 29, 2006 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
When I thought of Uranium thinking that would be pretty tough I was more than a little suprised that it got it in 20 questions. However much you think you understand how to play the game it show how cold reading must be just a simple act of asking the right question - More accurate than a palm reader this gave us plenty of fun over Christmas - a great gift for an 8 year old
Its great (but NOT human!) January 6, 2006 8 out of 11 found this review helpful
20q is great ,this version has a twin display so everyone can join in ,much betterthan going solo with the handheld . He wins most of the time ,but you have to learn how to answer ,and surely be forgiving ,he recently guessed cruise missile ,when nuclear bomb was the answer ,its good enough!! Get it its fun ,,,not sure below teenager would lock onto its line of thought though....but they were queueing up to take him on at the office \9i think i may have boosted sales!!)
Addictive! January 6, 2006 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
This is one amazing toy, we have had so much fun playing it, and trying to fox it, but it seems to win 97% of the time! Certainly tests the brain when trying to answer the questions. Definitely a good buy for people of an older age too...fascinating!
Its great ,but not human !! January 5, 2006 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
This version of the 20q is great ,everyone can see whats being asked by it ,as it displays to the front and back,I,ve "played " at home and learnt its language ,you need to answer its questions without confusing it ! It works fine most of the time and wins !(its very happy when it wins!) But its not a dictionary,it guesses what something is ,not inaminate things ,. Took it to the office and people were queueing up to take it on ,and were fascinated , cruise missile was guessed by it ,when nuclear bomb was the answer ,,,its good enough!!!!!!!! Not sure how long the fascination will last ,not sure younger than teenagers will lock on to its line of thought ,,,try the smaller 20q if not sure ,,but Im having fun !!
