 OK but fiddly September 16, 2008
Just bought the deluxe version of this house which I think is an improvement only the stairs are awkward to remove when you want to close this and pack it away. And it won't close properly unless you remove the stairs which Im sure after a few times may break off completely. Also, the bathroom floor is too easy to remove and my 3 year old gets upset whenever it comes off. They love this toy but the stairs and bathroom floor are a letdown, also for some reason I seem to be missing a couple of interior wall stickers. Also bought the train which they absolutely love and seems more durable.

I think this toy is a nice idea, however it falls down on practicality. My daughter is almost 18 months old and she was very excited to see her favourite cartoon character come to life, however once its out of the box you see what the other reviewers were talking about.
The house is flimsy, and tips over very easily, it looks more like a 'collectible' as its not really practical for children to play with properly. Having said that, the characters are great! My daughter prefers to stand on the house though...
I wasn't going to buy this but then it dropped to under a tenner, so I can't really have any regrets!

My daughter got this for xmas - she is 2.5 yrs old and totally mad on Peppa and the family after leaving her "pingu" phase !!
I agree with the other comments about the house falling over and it does ! a lot !!! which daughter gets really annoyed at esp if she has carefully placed figures in the rooms of the house ! But I have to say the figures are amazing in detail even the TV with goldfish bowl on top ! and I would buy it again just for the contents !

My 3 year old daughter loves the Peppa Pig series and wanted this house for ages. She was delighted when I bought it for her - but not for long...
Although the house looks nice and just like on telly it is very badly designed and impossible for kids to play with (even for adults it's tricky). The house itself keeps falling over as the base is far too narrow. The figures slide down from the sofa and rarely stand up properly, especially not on the included playmat. The ladder on the bunk beds does not stick and the bed sheets never stay put.
My daughter played with it for about 5 minutes and got more and more frustrated and angry as everything kept falling over.
Finally all the pieces were on the floor and Peppas legs were broken off. She never breaks toys - apart from this one!

My 2 1/2 year old boy loves the Peppa Pig series, and absolutely loves this toy. We deliberated for quite a while before plumping for this one out of the peppa pig range of toys. You get Peppa's whole family and the house is really well done - just as it is in the program.
The pieces are a little fiddly for a toddler and they don't stay put. But all in all it's great for enhancing a little one's enjoyment of a great series.
