My daughter was given this doll last christmas and wow!! It talks, asks for her bottle, blanky & teddy. It says "I love you mummy" and more!
Our daughter will not entertain any other doll, it has to be 'Emma' every time. She smells sweet, looks cute and is very amusing to see even for us parents.
We're considering whether to get her another one so that she can play with both or have one as a back up as she almost lost it once.
I would give this toy & it's accessories 11/10, perfect for girls age 3+ - Well Done Fisher Price!!

My (then)three and a half year old was given this doll for Christmas last year. It is one of them most worthwhile presents she has ever had - she plays with "Sarah" virtually every day in all sorts of made up scenarios. Yes, agreed with the other reviews who say the mechanism is a little noisy but that is absolutely the only down side. I think the doll has a really sweet little face and like the fact she has hair (can stand bald dolls - both my kids were born with a headful of hair, perhaps that has something to do with it!!)- in fact, I find myself covering her up if my daughter has left her lying around on a night time - yes, I know I need to get out more. My daughter has had endless hours of fun playing with this toy. I asked her what she wanted to say about Sarah to someone who was thinking of buying another Sarah. Her words were,"She talks, she moves, I love playing with her, she's my favorite doll and I love her".

I spent several days arguing with Fisher Price over the misleading advertising campaign being used. This doll does not learn and speak its own name ( the advert implied it learnt the name Emma and responded to it by saying "My Name Emma"). This is not the case, and the doll only responds to the name given by saying "My Name Mommy". The adverts then disappeared for several weeks, and were replaced by a new advert - this is still not very clear either!! At the moment, my daughter is terrified of this doll, probably because it's movements are very noisy and robotic. I'm sure she will get used to it in time. If Chucky had a child, this would be it!!!

I bought this doll for my six year old for her birthday in October. When you first switch the doll on you have to give her a name, my daughter chose Allysia, which is not the easiest to pronounce especially for a sudden shy six year old who then said it different every time so the doll kept on asking for the name to be repeated. So I had to say the name and it now responds to me, but apart from that, this is a really cute little doll. She switched it on a couple of times and its really clever and responds to her teddy and asks for her bottle and then takes it and giggles when you tickle her and pulls her blanky up when you place the magnets in the blanket next to her hand... All very clever.
But now two months down the line the batteries are flat but my daughter (and her little sister) haven't even noticed and still loves to play with her because she is nice and small and cuddly and smells nice with the cutest face and hair. Not big and bulky and bald like a lot of baby dolls.
Overall a good buy, with or without batteries!!

i bought this doll for my daughters birthday.she loves it and takes it everywhere.the good thing about this doll is you can name it and it responds to the name you give it,
