Amazon.co.uk Review Cadoo is a brand new outrageously fun game. Designed for kids from the age of seven years upwards, it needs only two to play (or as many as you like if all the family are gathered). Like the adult version Cranium, Cadoo has a variety of hilarious activities: Creative Cat brings out the artist in you--(is that a hat or a lamp shade?)--as you draw fun clues and create weird and wonderful things from the cool Cranium Clay. Word Worm gets you noodling over fun words and puzzles--do you know of a word that describes getting hit on the head and is a kind of bird? Data Head poses questions that tickle your brain with all kinds of fun facts--I bet you don't know whether you have more brains in your head, taste buds on your tongue or lines on finger tips? Star Performer--Performer cards get you laughing out loud with all kinds of outrageous activities for each player to perform. Quick, find something round to put on your head while you sing out the alphabet! Cranium "Cadoo" gets kids thinking and creating--better still, grinning and giggling--as they try to get four tokens in a row to win the game. Whether you love to act, or puzzle, or sculpt or sketch, or even crack codes with the help of the secret decoder mask, this game has something for you. The kids will love it--if they can ever get it back off the adults. --Ben King

Great family game September 18, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Excellent game. Bought it for my daughter when she was 6 years old and she loved it - as did many adults who played it with her. She still enjoys it now at aged 8. Really fun game with variety of tests - including dough moulding, miming...... My only gripe is that it is difficult to get a hold of extra cards in the UK - we have played the game so much we need more challenges.
Brilliant! April 8, 2006 26 out of 26 found this review helpful
Buy this game, you will not be disappointed. It actually had the whole family in tears of laughter over our attempts to sculpture things in putty and we won't mention the drawing! I still feel that the game has an educational side which makes children use their brains. We have played and re-played this game many times and each go is fresh and new. Also advise adults to look at the grown ups version, which has also provided much hilarity!
Fun on Christmas! January 11, 2006 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
I bought this for my 6 year old niece, and she's enjoyed it. The game is good fun, but not too complicated for her to enjoy. It's also a step up from simpler children's games like Snakes and Ladders. There are lots of pieces with it though (including some playdough-type substance) and I fear it won't be long till a lot of it goes missing.
Wonderful Fast To Learn Game December 27, 2005 36 out of 36 found this review helpful
After unpacking this game with my son (age 6). Then reading instructions (5 mins). It is very easy to play and learn. We were both laughing at various "Challenge cards". My son really loves the "find it" cards. For example: "find something white, and something round." He found a CD and a piece of white paper. He also enjoys the picture word cards. (picture of a bowl of soup + letter R + picture of a man = soup + r + man [yes say it fast] Superman!) So even if your child cannot read well yet (like my son), there is still fun for all in this great game! I find the "make it in clay" cards very hard (cant make a bunk bed in less than 30 seconds in the clay!, it makes you panic!! but the kids laugh at your attempts watching it fall over repeatedly hehe). My daughter (age 9) likes the "act it out" cards. The fun part is not knowing which card you will get next.
Great Fun October 23, 2005 75 out of 76 found this review helpful
I bought this for my daughter's ninth birthday and we have really enjoyed playing this game. The aim is to get 4 of your counters in a row. To do this you need to complete challenges such as, model a bow tie out of clay, or collect something beginning with "s" and something that you can push along with your nose before the time runs out or act as a shark while others try and guess what you are trying to be. There are also more traditional questions to be answered. The game is enjoyable to play as the challenges are so varied. Although the game is suitable for 2 players it is more fun when there are 3 or more and it is more competitive when trying to guess the challenge. I would recommend this game because it is good fun and has long lasting appeal.
