Fantastic idea April 14, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Scribble away until they can't think of anything else to draw - without needing to worry you with their inability to keep the pens on the mat! This is an excellent innovation.
Save your Furniture - Invest in Aqua Draw March 7, 2005 34 out of 34 found this review helpful
I first saw this toy at a friend's house. When my own daughter started showing an interest in getting her hands on any available drawing materials and furniture I knew it was time to order this. Its brilliance is its simplicity. It's supplied with 2 pens which you fill with water, then your little one can begin scribbling, writing, whatever. As the water dries, the image starts to fade out like invisible ink leaving you with a blank area to draw some more! As the pens are filled with water there's no harm if your child likes to stick the pen in their mouth. The mat is a surprisingly large play area 90cm x 90 cm, and has the alphabet and numbers around the sides. It also has a pen holder so you can keep mat and pen together. It's not bulky when folded up so it's ideal for travelling. I have a friend who uses it to amuse her child on the train, and it will becoming to the beach with us if summer ever turns up. It even fascinates the adults!
Quite good, one big flaw February 23, 2005 19 out of 25 found this review helpful
Fun with no mess. I have a 3 1/2 year old and a 2 year old and they both enjoy playing with this toy and can do so at the same time. Around the edges is the alphabet which could be great practise for tracing and learning how to form letters, HOWEVER... it is upside down!! Quite unbelieveable. In order to see the letters the right way up, a child would have to sit on the middle of the mat which would clearly antagonise the other child. What a shame that such an obvious design flaw has spoilt what is otherwise a very good toy.
Best toy of 2004 February 3, 2005 17 out of 18 found this review helpful
I bought this essentially for my 2 year old, but even her 5 year old sister loves it. They both play with it and there is NO MESS and I can leave them with it. It is portable as well, so we take it wherever we go and so many people have asked about it and where they can buy it. Highly recommend this to anybody.
WOW ! Every child should have one ! January 18, 2005 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
Out of all the many....many...toys that Santa brought this year the Aquadraw is by far the best ! No mess drawing that folds away to about the size of an A4 pad ! My kids (2 and 3) love this - they can scribble away to their hearts content without close supervision unlike paints e.t.c No mess at all and should they decide to draw on the floor then it's not a problem as nothing happens.
