THE BEST OF THE 3 GAMES OUT THERE December 20, 2006 22 out of 23 found this review helpful
THIS IS EASILY THE BEST OF THE 3 DEAL OR NO DEAL GAMES OUT THERE ,SIMPLE CONTROLS ,EASY TO PLAY WHEN 1 OR 4 PLAYERS ARE PLAYING. I HAVE PLAYED ALL 3 VERSIONS , THE BOARD GAME IS VERY CHEAP AND NASTY , THE HANDHELD IS GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY IT LACKS ANY SOUND OR ATMOSPHERE BUT IS STILL A GOOD GAME FOR THE PRICE.THIS TABLETOP VERSION HAS SOUND AND THE BANKERS RING ETC. SO IT FEELS MORE FUN TO PLAY ,SO IF YOUR NOT SURE WHICH DEAL OR NO DEAL TO GO FOR THEN ITS GOT TO BE THIS ONE.
Best "DOND" Game December 3, 2006 14 out of 15 found this review helpful
Simply BRILLIANT.....................Okay...So There Is No Noel Edmonds and The Extra Sound Effects, But The Gameplay Isd FANTASSTIC, and Ive Already Bought 2 Copies for Christmas Presents.
Compared to Other Versions, This IS the Best one For me.
Bankers offers are ridiculous November 8, 2006 54 out of 67 found this review helpful
Just bought this for family to play at xmas and have given it a go but the amounts the bankers offer is sometimes ridiculous (especially if you have the high boxes left).
I had the following boxes left:
250,000 20,000 10 250 500
I got offered 48,000
of course I dealt (turns out I had the 500 box). This ridiculously high offer would never happen on the show - why couldn't they make the game more realistic.. :(
Apart from that its quite good fun, but can't help feeling they messed up here.
Highly Addictive October 26, 2006 71 out of 74 found this review helpful
Thought I'd purchase this for my son (10) for Christmas and I tried it when it came to see if it worked and how the game played. Inserted the batteries and within seconds I was able to play a game and how addictive this could turn out to be. Christmas Day will be full of East Wing / West Wing rivalries. Will be purchasing another for my father (60) to avoid any arguments!!!!
One downside - it could have done with Noel's voice to accompany the screen.
Lots of fun.. October 18, 2006 52 out of 59 found this review helpful
Very good version of the TV game show as it allows up to four players to play off against each other to try and hold out for the best offer. Only slight problem is that once you have dealt and its your turn again to choose your next set of boxes, you still have to press to deal or no deal buttons (or swap or no swap if down to the last 2 boxes)to continue. In this case the turn should automatically end once the banker displays his new offer!
