Fantastic Baby Monitor February 11, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We got this monitor after reading the reviews.
All I can say is that it is fantastic. Sound is crystal clear, with no interferance or buzzing. The sensitivity of the monitor can be changed 1 to 5. We set ours to 5, and have the monitor about 4-5 feet away and hear every noise our baby makes.
I strongly recommend this monitor.
The only negative point is the "MP3 Plug In Facility". It does work, however the speaker is so poor, the sound quality from attached MP3 devices is very poor and probably not worth bothering about ... this is a slight let down. If BT had only put a bit more effort into that part of the design, it would be perfect.
Happy cry babies January 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Expecting twins and being deaf,i researched hard to find a monitor that would vibrate to alert me of my crying babies. We bought this monitor before they were born. Anyhow i need'nt of worried, the volume and clarity of this monitor is brilliant and sounds so crystal clear that i don't even use the vibrate function.
Gadget for Dads! January 29, 2008 Great gadget for dads! Sound clarity is really good, no hiss, crackle or interference and the parent unit only brings the sound through when there is any from the baby. Some really useful features including the ability to turn on the light or play the tunes from the parent unit, temperature sensor means you've one less thing to worry about. The "walkie-talkie" feature means that you can talk to one another, from different rooms if you need something or to ask a question and you can re-assure baby before you get to the room.
Excellent Buy January 27, 2008 I had a Tomy baby monitor with my first child and what a complete nightmare it was!! The temperature kept beeping and you could not stop it - a complete waste of 45 as I put it away and never used it again. Now with number 5 on the way I definately need one, due to the noise the other kids make. It is very easy to use and is great even for my 4 year old who now, rather than comes downstairs every 3 minutes is happy to talk to me through this. When the baby comes I will definately be making use of the lullaby function. Great buy!!
Want a baby monitor? Look no further... January 26, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
... because this is the one to have. It's not prohibitively expensive, and it does everything you want a monitor to do. It's completely silent, has a nightlight and lullaby functions, and you can operate it from the parent unit downstairs. Other reviewers have complained about the battery life, but I haven't had a problem at all.
