I wish they'd had these when I was little June 11, 2008
No more struggling with a couple of chairs, a clothes airer & a blanket to build dens. This toy is fantasticly simple but brilliant. So far we've built a ship, a castle, a tent & a house and it only arrived 3 hours ago. It's really simple to do my four yr old can manage it with a little help on the high bits and even I've enjoyed playing with it. The only down side I can think of is as the construction ideas get more adventurous there may not be enough 'bits' and we may need a second set

I bought this toy for my sons 5th birthday. it is fantastic. I have 3 children 6, 5, & 2 years and they have all had a whale of a time playing with this. there are so many wonderful things to make and inaginations grow with every design. easy to use so that the children can build by themselves. ideal for the garden in the summer or great to use inside on rainy days.

my kids - 2,5,6,14 all love this toy! even the two year old can create with it. all my friends who have seen it want one for their kids! easy to use and endless fun. pity its not still on offer as could do with another set!

I ordered this toy for my 5 yr old boy and 7 yr old girl. They have had immense fun with it. My daughter is able to follow the instructions by herself and between them they have been able to create all the suggested models. I was unsure as to whether it would be to old for my 7 yr old, but it wasn't. I would recommend this for younger children as well, however I think that by about the age of 6 a child would not need much intervention from a grown up. All the pieces click together with magnets and so are very easy to put in place. I would DEFINATELY recommend this as a fun, imaginative and great way for children to use their own minds to create their own imaginary world!

I'm a registered childminder and bought this after childminding colleagues were singing its praises on our egroup. It was hardly out of the box when the children started to play with it. There is so much they can do with it, they use their imagination, work together, work things out and just have a great time with it. They play longer with this than ready constructed tents/houses and get a lot more out of it.
It's not just for young children, teenagers enjoy playing with it too.
